Ethiopia Secures $238Mn from Manufacturing in 6 Months
Ethiopia has obtained $238 million from the export of manufacturing products during the first half of the current fiscal year, the Ministry of Industry reported. The amount has shown an increase of $51 million, 27 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year.
Ethiopia has secured over $1.89 billion from exports during the first half of the Ethiopian fiscal year that started July 8, 2021. The amount has shown an increase of $322.5 million, 20.5 percent, compared to the same period last year.
Ethiopian Airlines announced that it is flying 22 times a day to Gondar from Addis Ababa for the Ethiopian Epiphany (Timket) festivities.
Hibir Tower, Hibret Bank's headquarters, a 37-storey building built at a cost of 2.8 billion birr, located in the financial district of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, has been inaugurated.
Ethiopia's Ministry of Mines and Petroleum announced $283 million has been secured from mines exports during the past six months. The Ministry made the announecment after a review meeting of its six-month performance.
