Ethiopian Airlines announced that it is flying 22 times a day to Gondar from Addis Ababa for the Ethiopian Epiphany (Timket) festivities.
Ethiopian Airlines noted this is a record number of daily flights for the holiday season.
Ethiopian Epiphany (Timket) is a UNESCO-registered world heritage that is colorfully celebrated everyday by the Ethiopian Orthodox church and followers. The Ethiopian city of Gondar is espcially known for its unique celebration of the holiday.
