During the last nine months Ethiopia has managed to earn US$ 366 Million from the export of agricultural products shipped via Eastern Ethiopia , Ethiopian News Agency reported.

Ethiopia and China signed a Memorandum of Understanding which established a cooperative business Council. Ethiopia Intellectual Property Office (EIPO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with its Chinese counterpart, State Intellectual Property Office of the Peoples’ Republic of China (SIPO), The Ethiopian Herald reported.

The Ethiopian Academy of Sciences officially launched on Thursday, June 20, 2013. The Ethiopian Ministry of Science and Technology has pledged to provide the necessary support to the Academy.

Dassie Dalke, Minister of Science and Technology, said at the launching conference, the Academy would create a huge potential to undertake problem solving researches and advance science and technology.
