Ethiopian Accreditation Office Ready to Raise Awareness
The National Accreditation Office of Ethiopia is ready to raise awareness in the agricultural, health and industrial sectors according to Araya Fesseha Director General of the ENAO.
Accreditation is a new concept in Ethiopia and requires aggressive promotion to raise awareness amongst stakeholders he said.
The accreditation office has conducted training events in Addis Ababa, and the Amahra and Tigray regional states said Araya. Further training will be done in Dire Dawa, Oromia, and the South regional state.
Ethiopia Airlines took delivery of the first ever B-787 Dreamliner full flight simulator in Africa. The installation as well as the build-up of the full flight Simulator is being carried out at Addis Ababa and the first simulator training is scheduled to be carried out on March, 2015.
De Havilland Aircraft announced that it has delivered Ethiopian Airlines 32nd Dash 8-400 aircraft. Ethiopian received its first Dash 8-400 from the Canadian aircraft manufacturer in March 2010. In a tweet, De Havilland Aircraft has said it wishes Ethiopian and its strategic airline partners "much ongoing success."
