Prime Minister Haile Mariam Desalegn has inaugurated Ethiopia’s cash and carry wholesale enterprise, ALLE Wholesale, on Monday. The inaugural ceremony took place in Addis Ababa by opening a store around Megenagna.
Almeda Textile Factory has concluded an expansion project it took with an investment of 86 million Birr in Adwa City, Ethiopia. The expansion is said to increase the company’s fabric production capacity by 100 percent.
Addis Ababa: July 9, 2015 (FBC) – Constructed at a cost of 2 billion Birr, with support from the Government of Japan, Aluta Langano Geothermal power station has started generating power.
According to the Ethiopian Electric Power, the Aluto Langano geothermal project has successfully conducted a production test, achieving a capacity of 25 MW.
Expansion work on the Aluto-Langano Geothermal Power Plant launched on Wednesday, Ethiopian News Agency reported.
