Ethiopia, Greece Seek to Strengthen Trade, Investment Ties
Markos Tekle (PhD), Ethiopia’s State Minister of Foreign Affairs, received and discussed with Terens-Ninkolaos, Greece’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. The two diplomats discussed on how to bolster the bilateral trade and investment ties between their two countries.
The Addis Ababa city administration has announced 51,229 residents to whom condo units will be transferred on a lottery draw. The condos were built under the 20/80 and 40/60 housing schemes, Engineer Senait Damtew, head of the city’s housing administration and development bureau related.
The Debre Birhan Industrial Park, which rests on 1,100 hectares of land, has been inaugurated. The industry park stands with eight production sheds completed, the office of the Prime Minister said in a tweet.
Ethiopian Airlines’ Cargo and Logistics Services received its first Boeing 737-800 freighter. Tewolde Gebremariam, Ethiopian’s Group CEO, speaking as his airlines received the new cargo freighter, said his company is excited to obtain the new freighter “a few days after being crowned with ‘African Cargo Airline of the Year’ and ‘Air Cargo Brand of the Year in Africa’ Awards for the fourth year in a row.”
