Ethiopian Pulses, Oilseeds, and Spices Processors-Exporters Association (EPOSPEA) announced that the 11th International Conference on Pulses and Oil Seeds would be held in Addis Ababa between November 15 and 16 this year. The Association organized the conference in collaboration with the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration.

The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration revealed that preparations were underway to export high-quality wheat to international markets. It discussed with exporters on the export of the cereal and noted that the quality and standard of export wheat was non-negotiable. The Ministry also affirmed that exports of wheat would commence after domestic consumption was met.
Ethiopia invited Canadian investors to invest in mining, agriculture, tourism, technology, and manufacturing in Ethiopia during the 4th Ethio-Canada Trade and Investment Forum which was held in Toronto, Canada. The forum aimed to inform Canadian investors about investment opportunities in Ethiopia and the country’s Homegrown Economic Reform.
Ministry of Mines stated that it had finished preparations to launch Mintex Expo in Addis Ababa which will last for three days between November 10 and 12. The expo will be held to promote Ethiopia’s resources in the mining sector and will be open to investors, companies and other stakeholders. It will also host local and foreign companies who will be able to buy and sell minerals and produce better products.
