Ethiopia: Aysha Wind Farm Nears Completion

A forum on mobilization of mining and development which is focused on mineral resources and investment opportunities in Amhara Regional State’s mining sector was launched today in Bahir Dar city.
President of Amhara Regional State, Yilkal Kefale, and Minister of Ministry of Mines, Takele Uma, attended the opening ceremony of the forum.
A mango juice factory was launched in Bahir Dar on Saturday last week in the presence of officials from the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration. The juice factory called “Slice” is expected to produce 112 thousand liters of juice per day and 33.6 million litters of juice per year.
For its campuses in the Amhara State capital, Bahir Dar University (BDU) is looking for local as well as international firms that can hire for what it calls Conceptual Campus Masterplan Design. The masterplan is needed for the central cluster of the University’s campuses.
