Ethiopia’s telecom giant, Ethio Telecom, is planning to bring into play a system which is said to prevent theft, making illegal international phone calls and using below standard handset.
The company aims to launch the system in less than a month's time.
During the last nine months Ethiopia has managed to earn US$ 366 Million from the export of agricultural products shipped via Eastern Ethiopia , Ethiopian News Agency reported.

Ethiopia and China signed a Memorandum of Understanding which established a cooperative business Council. Ethiopia Intellectual Property Office (EIPO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with its Chinese counterpart, State Intellectual Property Office of the Peoples’ Republic of China (SIPO), The Ethiopian Herald reported.
