The Modjo dry port will be linked with industry parks via rail and roads, said Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Services Enterprise (ESLSE). This will help boost Ethiopia’s exports, ESLSE added.

Ethiopia's Modjo Green Logistics Centre is undergoing a major expansion to become a world-class logistics hub. The project, funded by the Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics and the World Bank, will double the centre's size and significantly boost its container handling capacity.
Ethiopian Roads Authority (ERA) disclosed it has completed 12 percent of Modjo – Hawassa expressway.
The Modjo-Beki-Batu expressway, built at a cost of some 6.3 billion birr, has officially begun operations. The 92km long and 32m wide expressway, having five international standard tolling stations, is the third toll road for Ethiopia, after the Addis Ababa-Adama, and the Dire Dawa-Dewale expressways.
