Ethiopia: Four Companies Awarded Mining Licenses

Ethiopia’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism rated hotels in Southern Nation, Nationalities and Peoples State – out of which four hotels got four stars. Haile Resort, Ker-Awud International Hotel, Lewi Hotel & Resort and South Star International Hotel, all located in Hawassa, are the four hotels which earned the four stars.
Wyndham Hotel Group, a US based group, disclosed it is going to open a four star hotel in the Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa.

Fincha, Wonji Shewa, Omo Kuraz II, and Omo Kuraz III sugar factories resumed production. Ethiopian Sugar Industry Group further announced that Tana Beles, Kesem, Arjo Dedesa, and Metehara sugar factories were under maintenance and will be back in the market starting from March, 2023.
Teachers in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, will be able to get free transport service from the city busses starting from May 9, 2016. The teachers will be able to get the service upon presenting identification Cards that will be given to them.
