Ethio Telecom officially launched its "Copper Switch-Off Initiative," which aims to migrate 100,000 customers from the existing copper network to high-speed fiber optic infrastructure by the end of this fiscal year.

Ethio Telecom has revealed its three-year growth plan, which includes the annual business plan for the 2023/24 fiscal year. It plans to offer local and international products and services to the market, expand telebirr's access, service types, and partner network, enhance service delivery, and increase customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
Ethio Telecom has introduced new services, including Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE), to enhance connectivity and drive digital development in Ethiopia.

Ethio Telecom has inaugurated its third super fast electric vehicle (EV) charging station in Addis Ababa. The new facility, which was opened yesterday in the Summit Fiyel Bet area, features 16 high capacity super fast chargers and is set to boost the city’s EV charging network.
