5 membership seats of Ethiopian Commodity Exchange (ECX) has been sold at a bid floated for the public. The highest bid price was 2.5 million Birr while the lowest was 2 million Birr. Nonetheless, the highest bid shows decline when compared to previous auction, which attracted a bid price of 2.8 million Birr.
Following a tender floated by Ethiopia, 5 international energy firms are bidding to construct 100 megawatt solar energy plant in Metehara City, Oromia State.
The Addis Ababa city administration has announced 51,229 residents to whom condo units will be transferred on a lottery draw. The condos were built under the 20/80 and 40/60 housing schemes, Engineer Senait Damtew, head of the city’s housing administration and development bureau related.
Urban Development, Construction and Industry Bureau of Tigray State disclosed it has issued license for a total of 584 investment projects during the first half of the current fiscal year. The projects are said to have 7.8 Billion Birr of capital.
Expansion projects being undertaken in Ethiopia over 6 airports would be concluded in the current fiscal year, Ethiopian Airports Enterprise (EAE) disclosed. This also includes Bole International Airport.
