Ethiopia's Capital City Collects 25Bn Birr in Revenues in 4 Months
The Addis Ababa Revenues Bureau announced that it has collected 25 billion birr during the first four months of the Ethiopian fiscal year that started on July 8, 2021, exceeding its target by 25 percent.
The Addis Ababa Revenues Bureau announced that it has collected 31.4 billion birr (close to $632 million) during the first six months of the fiscal year that started July 9, 2021. The amount exceeds the 26.5 billion birr target set for the period by 18 percent.
The Office of the First Lady of Ethiopia has inaugurated a bread and flour factory in Addis Ababa that is capable of producing a million loaves per day. First Lady Zinash Tayachew has handed the factory, which is located in Lemi-Kura Sub City, to Adanech Abiebie, Mayor of the City of Addis Ababa.
