Ethiopia Secures $676Mn from Exports in Two Months
Ethiopia announced it has secured over $676 million during the first two months of the Ethiopian fiscal year that started July 8, 2021, surpassing its target of $643 million for the period by over 5 percent.
Ethiopia has collected $90 million in revenues from the export of electricity to its neighbors Sudan and Djibouti in the Ethiopian fiscal year recently ended on July 7, 2021, Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) related.
Ethiopia's Ministry of Agriculture said it has collected $906 million from coffee export in the Ethiopian fiscal year concluded on July 7, 2021.
Ethiopia's Minister of Revenues has collected 196.7 billion birr in seven months, the Minister said. The amount stands at 92.45 percent of the target set for the period.
