Ethiopia Earns USD 71 Million from Electricity Export
Ethiopia generated USD 71 million in the past 9 months from electricity export. The Ministry of Water and Energy stated that efforts were being made to overcome the foreign currency shortage in the country by increasing income from the sale of electricity. The country was able to export 10,725 Gigawatts of power during the same period.

Ethiopia has emerged to be the fastest-growing travel destination in the world in 2019. Two other East African nations, Kenya and Rwanda, have also made it to the top ten list. As a continent, Africa stands second fastest-growing travel destination, second only to Asia-Pacific.
