The Ethio-Djibouti Standard Gauge Railway Share Company (EDR) has announced a series of new operational measures to enhance logistics capacity and address long-standing concerns from manufacturers in Ethiopia’s industrial parks.
Ethiopia and Djibouti launched the construction of the Ethio-Djibouti 2nd Circuit High Power Transmission Line and Distribution Station Project. The project is expected to generate foreign currency to Ethiopia while strengthening the electricity and transport linkage between the two neighboring countries.

Ethio-Engineering Group (EEG) and China Railway Rolling S.C. recently held discussions regarding the potential for producing electric buses in Ethiopia. The two parties reached a mutual understanding to establish an electric bus factory in the country.
