Ethio-Finnish Trade and Business Forum, under the theme of “inclusive partnership for sustainable growth” organized by the Finnish Embassy takes place on 5 June 2013 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Finland’s Under-Secretary of State for Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Anne Sipilainen said that Africa has recently registered a sustained high growth rate. In particular, she noted the size of Ethiopia's, middle class is increasing.

Sipilainen also lauded Ethiopia's successful efforts in poverty reduction and affirmed the need for cooperation between  Finnish and Ethiopian stakeholders to identify new ways to contribute to development and welfare of the people of Ethiopia.

Seleshi Getahune, Ethiopia’s State Minister for Ministry of Agriculture, expressed his gratitude for the Finnish Government and people for their cooperation and collaboration in various development endeavors in Ethiopia.
