RedFox Solutions Group launched its data center, RedFox Modular Data Center (RFETH-MDC01), in the country’s ICT Park located in Addis Ababa. The data center which was built at a cost of USD 130 million is the first of the data centers which are planned to be constructed by RedFox Group.

The group, which was established by 10 Ethiopian Diaspora, started construction of the data center a year ago on 2,400 square meters of land which has now created job opportunities for 72 Ethiopians.

The South Nations Nationalities and People Regional State Revenue Authority announced that it has collected over 2.9 billion Ethiopian birr income in the concluded Ethiopian Fiscal Year.

The Authority's Deputy Director, Tadesse  Merd, told Walta Information Center, the revenue was collected from direct and indirect taxes as well as municipality service.

Ministry of Urban and Infrastructure announced that a regulation which would help resolve problems in the construction sector was drafted. Corruption, compromised quality, and delay in completing projects are some of the problems seen in the construction sector.

Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), the state owned bank, disclosed out of its entire hard currency earning during the first 6 months of the current fiscal year, 85 percent of it was from remittances.
