The Oromia Tourism Commission has announced a space tourism initiative in partnership with the Ethiopia Space Science and Geospatial Institute, marking a step to transform the region’s tourism sector.

The Ministry of Tourism has awarded five-star ratings to eleven hotels in the capital following a comprehensive re-evaluation conducted for the 2024/25 Ethiopian budget year.
