Government e-service portals developed by Africom Technologies PLC will be submitted the Ethiopian Ministry of Communications & Information Technology (MoCIT), according to Fortune.
The Ministry awarded the project for the development of 88 e-service portals to Africom in May 2013 for 1.95 million Ethiopian birr.

Ethiopian Airlines, the fastest growing airline in Africa, is pleased to announce the start of four weekly services to Niamey, the Republic of Niger, as of 20 November 2013. These new flights will operate with Ethiopian’s Boeing 757-200 aircraft with 16 seats in Ethiopian’s Cloud Nine business class and 151 seats in economy class.
This new routing further solidifies Ethiopian's presence in Africa. Niger becomes the 47th Ethiopian destination in Africa. With its partner ASKY in West Africa, Ethiopian has service to 34 countries in Africa. No airline connects Africa to the world, as does Ethiopian.

Ethiopia's Awash International Bank (AIB) has purchased 100 Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) and 400 Point of Sale (POS) terminals, Capital reported.
The Lebanese company, Computer Business Machine (CBM), will supply the ATMs and the POS terminals will be supplied by S2M, a Moroccan company.

Hibir Sugar S.C, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Ethiopian Metal & Engineering Corporation (MetEC) on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 for construction of its factory Fortune reported.
The MoU, signed at the MeTEC’s Hotel in Nifas Silk Lafto sub-city, is expected lead to a final contract in six months to build the factory.

The Ethiopian Ministry of Agriculture is planning to revise the existing loan scheme for agricultural inputs, Fortune reported.
The Ministry developed the proposed arrangement in partnership with the Agricultural Transformation Agency.
