An Ethiopian business delegation is attending a business forum organized by the American Corporate Council, in the United States.

The delegation consists of a number of both private companies and public enterprises and government officials.

 The forum is taking place from October 8 - 11, Capital reported.

The objective of participating in the forum is to promote investment opportunities in Ethiopia and to link the Ethiopian business community with its counterpart in the U.S., said Dina Mufti (Amb.), Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), at a press briefing held on Tuesday, October 2.

Ethiopian products will be exhibited at the forum to attract distributors and retailers for the US market.

The business delegation will be led by a senior official from MoFA, according to the spokesperson.
