Ethiopia: TVET Conference held in Dire Dawa

The Ethiopian Ministry of Education said it has given due attention to technology transfer and producing skilled human power to realize the renaissance of the country, Ethiopian News Agency reported.

Speaking in a national technical and vocational education and training (TVET) conference held in Dire Dawa Saturday, Wondwesen Kifilu, Technical and Vocational Cluster State Minister said training youth in TVET is a priority for the remaining two years of the GTP period.

Nyota Minerals Planning to Sell 75% of its Gold Mine Project in Ethiopia

nyota-minerals Nyota Minerals has confirmed a plan to sell 75 percent of its Tulu Kapi gold mine project in Ethiopia, Proactive Investors UK reported.

In return Nyota Minerals will receive £1 million of cash and £3.5 million in shares, and it will retain a 25 percent interest in the project.
