The Board’s decision opened the provision of bonded warehouse, consolidation and deconsolidation services and allowed joint venture participation of international logistics service providers holding up to 49% or less shares.
According to Ethiopian Investment Commission, the decision is notable in that it will enhance the supply of high-end logistics services while local companies obtain world class knowledge, skill, management, and systems by working together with globally reputed logistics service providers.

The United Stated Trade and Development Agency donated the money to undertake a feasibility study for the first 50MW stage of the planned 520MW project.
