Ethiopian Airlines CEO Chosen One of the Most Influential People of African Descent
Mr. Tewolde GebreMariam, Group CEO of Ethiopian Airlines, has been recognized as one of the most influential people of African descent in the category of business and entrepreneurship at a colourful ceremony held in Addis Ababa on Feb. 09, 2019.
Ethiopian, Egyptian and Sudanese leaders held a tripartite meeting regarding Ethiopia’s Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) on the Nile River. At the end of the meeting, the leaders of the three countries have decided to provide a high-level political umbrella to support the talks on the GERD.
Oxford University Press released a new book on Ethiopian economy, dubbed The Oxford Handbook of the Ethiopian Economy, with an aim to present the analysis of the country’s economy in the past and the present, and that prospects where the economy is headed in the future.
