Metals and Engineering Corporation (METEC) disclosed that it hopes to undertake forthcoming Ethiopian Mega Projects.

New directive has been issued by Addis Ababa Transport Authority (AATA) that stipulates disciplinary measures to be taken on transport service providers. The disciplinary measure is said to be taking place starting from this month and will be applicable to minibuses, meter taxis, and Higer, Anbesa, Sheger and Alliance buses.

National bank of Ethiopia (NBE) disclosed microfinance institutions (MFIs) across the country disbursed 26.6 billion Birr loan in the last fiscal year. The loans were given through 35 MFIs.

The design, supervision and contract administration work of the new stadium to be built around Bob Marley roundabout in Addis Ababa has been awarded for MH Engineering Plc by the Federal Sports Commission. The Stadium is dubbed Adey Abeba Stadium and said to accommodate 60,000 people, which actually is double the capacity of the Addis Ababa Stadium.

MH Engineering PLC won the architectural design competition of Ethiopian Insurance Corporation's multi-purpose building, Capital reported.
