Ethiopia: Ethiopia’s Cargo Terminal to Go Operational by April
Ethiopian Airlines Cargo Terminal, which is under construction currently, has reached 82 percent completion rate and it is scheduled to be operation by April 2017.

Ethiopost announced that it would launch premium insurance services for customers who transport goods using the postal company’s logistics service. The company’s CEO Hana Arayaselassie also stated that Ethiopost was providing transit e-commerce services across various countries in Africa.
Ethio-Djibouti Railway stated that it was carrying out various activities to expand its services. It is currently preparing to start transporting perishable items including fruits and vegetables. In addition, the railway company will also commence deploying wagons which carry mineral products and envisages providing passenger services to tourists who wish to visit Ethiopia and Djibouti.
The Ethio-German business forum opened yesterday in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The forum brings together over a hundred Ethiopian and German businesspeople. A delegation from the German state of Baden-Wuerttemberg came to attend the forum.
