Ethiopia's Ethio Telecom has announced a loyalty program it dubbed "Ashamtele". Ashamtele is said to enable Ethio Telecom's customers be rewarded for using its services.

Ethio Telecom, Ethiopia’s sole telecom services provider, announced it has launched LTE Advanced 4G (Fourth Generation) technology.

Ethio Telecom launched various services today. The company’s new services include a music mobile application called Elf Music, a database service named Teledrive Mobile Database Service, and cloud solution services called Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).

Ethio telecom has officially launched teleStream, a new internet-based streaming platform aimed at reshaping Ethiopia’s digital and media landscape. The platform was unveiled at the Science Museum in Addis Ababa as part of the company’s long-term corporate roadmap, “Next Horizon Digital and Beyond 2028.”
