The Public Procurement and Property Authority (PPPA) announced that its e-Government Procurement (e-GP) system facilitated over 22,000 tenders during the past fiscal year, resulting in a total transaction value of Birr 320 billion.

Kefyalew Berhanu, the Corporation’s CEO, said EABC plans to manufacture the machinery through joint ventures. According to the CEO, the Corporation is planning to work with foreign companies. He said, “EABC is ready to provide land, marketing service, trained manpower and also contribute modest capital,” adding that light and low cost agricultural machinery are essential for the country in reducing the cost of importing.
Ethiopian Airports Enterprise (EAE) is going to construct three new airports in different cities of Ethiopia; Hawassa, Shire and Robe Goba.
