Army Foundation has called off the international bid it floated for the procurement of rebar. The foundation had opened the bid on November 14, 2017 and it was estimated to cost 600 million Birr. The reason, according to Fortune, was insufficient foreign currency for the bid.
Ethiopia has earned US$ 71.6 million from export of gold supplied by artisanal miners to the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) during the first three months of the current fiscal year, Ministry of Mines (MoM) disclosed.

Ayalneh Mihiretu, Public relation head with the Enterprise, told Ethiopian News Agency on Wednesday, the Enterprise will disburse the money to over 801,350 beneficiaries.
