Ethiopia’s capital Addis Ababa is going to build bus rapid transit line for the first time in history. The Addis Ababa Road and Transport Bureau concluded an agreement with 3 contractors that will design the work and construct the lines.
The Bureau contracted with SAFEGE SA, French company and two local contractors.
Adanech Abiebie, the Mayor of Addis Ababa City Administration, has announced the construction of five large market centers in various parts of the city.
Starting from the current fiscal year Addis Ababa City Administration will be clearing 134.78 hectares land upon which slums have been built on.
New business center dubbed Hidase Grand Mall is going to be built in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, at a cost of 3 billion Birr. The construction is scheduled to be completed in 3 years time.
The 13th All Africa Leather Fair, Africa’s largest leather and leather products exhibition, will be held between April 20 and 22 in Addis Ababa.
