Addis International Bank joined Premier Switch Solutions, a payment processing operator allowing a joint use of ATMs and point of sale devices by its member banks, Fortune reported.
Addis acquired shares in Premier Switch Solutions worth 4.8 million birr last month and is waiting the launch of its CORE banking system to access the services of Premier Switch Solutions.

The earnings per share has also increased by 3.2 percent and reached 193 Birr for a thousand Birr share.
Addis International Catering, which is a subsidiary of MIDROC Group, joined the Ethiopian catering services and has commenced service.
Addis Ababa City Transport Bureau (AACTB) is searching for private companies that will build 354 passenger shelters at public transport stop points. The shelters are going to be built in Addis and its neighboring towns.
