Abay Bank, reported 38.04 million birr profit after tax and earnings per share of 14.3 Br from 12.2 birr, Fortune reported.
Abay Cement has officially launched the construction of its plant in Dejen district of the Amhara region. The construction of the plant will cost 8.8 billion birr.
One of the private insurers in Ethiopia, Abay Insurance S.C., appointed a Sri Lankan company dubbed Informatics International Limited to develop an integrated general and health software system. For the service, which includes supply, install and maintain the system for the coming seven months Abay, has agreed to pay close to 7 million Birr.
One of Ethiopia’s private banks, Abay Bank S.C., disclosed it made 93 million Birr profit during the first six months of its current fiscal year.
