Ethiopia's Bole Airport Sees Record Number of Passengers
Ethiopia's biggest airport at the capital Addis Ababa, Bole International Airport, is having a record number of international passengers travel through it, serving as the major gateway to Africa.
Ethiopia’s bonds are the best-performing sovereign debt in emerging markets this year, atop 80 developing nations, Bloomberg reported, following a drastic improvement in the security situation in the country. The bonds have rebounded to six cents on the dollar since January 26.
Buusaa Gonofaa, a microfinance institution in Ethiopia's Oromia region has been named a finalist for the European Microfinance Award. The prestigious annual award hands €100,000 for the winner and €10,000 for the runners-up.
The Addis Ababa Revenues Bureau announced that it has collected 25 billion birr during the first four months of the Ethiopian fiscal year that started on July 8, 2021, exceeding its target by 25 percent.
