The Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Enterprise plans to make Ethiopia's Modjo Dry Port the biggest logistics hub in the country with a $150 million funding by the World Bank, it was reported.

Ethiopia decided to build 11 public universities across the country that will be administered by the Ministry of Education (MoE).

Ethiopia is going to build 11 new universities in the next growth and transformation plan period, aka GTP II, which is set to start in the coming fiscal year. The announcement was made by the Ministry of Education.

The Council of Ministers has endorsed on October 23, 2015, the establishment of 11 new universities in Ethiopia by the end of GTP II, Ethiopian News Agency reported.

Ethiopian Electric Power said Ethiopia plans to build 71 power projects over the next ten years, at a cost of over $40 billion. Out of the 71 projects, 16 are hydropower, 24 wind, 17 steam, and 14 solar.
