Ethiopia Earns Over USD 2.1 Billion from Gold in Nine Months

Ethiopia earned more than USD 2.48 billion in export revenue during the first quarter of the 2025/26 fiscal year, according to the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration.

Ethiopian Electric Power (EEP) has announced that it has generated more than USD 61 million from the sale of electricity to neighboring countries over the past six months while undertaking infrastructure upgrades to enhance power supply reliability.

Ethiopia has generated more than USD 7.2 billion in export revenue during the first 11 months of the current fiscal year, according to the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration.
The Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Natural Gas said Ethiopia has secured USD 79.3 million from mineral in the first quarter of the fiscal year.
