Kessem Sugar Factory said, after being fully operational plans to produce 1.5 million quintal sugar a year, Walta Information Center reported.
Ethiopian Sugar Corporation said Kessem Sugar Factory is to start regular sugar production by next week.
Kia Motors decided to build training centers for mechanics in 2 East African countries, Ethiopia and Kenya. The centers are said to be built in order to contribute for the countries’ economies by offering education to the youth. They are also expected to contribute to job creation and boost economies of Ethiopia and Kenya.
The five months old crane manufacturing company, KIG, is set to begin production in a month time after receiving machinery and inputs.
