The fully-integrated hotel management company, Hospitality Management Holdings (HMH), has associated with Ethiopian Airlines’ Frequent Flyer Programme - ShebaMiles to extend guests new travel rewards.
The President of Hospitality Management Holdings, Mr. Michel Noblet visited Ethiopia on a consultative trip. Noblet was interested in exploring opportunities for HMH in his visit here it was learned.
He met with several government officials in his time here including Amin Abdulkadir, Minister of Culture and Tourism, Yonas Desta, General Director of the Authority for Research & Conservation of Cultural Heritage and United Arab Emirates Ambassdor Extraordinary in Ethiopia Dr. Yousif Eisa Hassan Al Sabri it was learned.
There tourism and hospitality sectors in Ethiopia are growing significantly and welcome external input said Abdulkadir in his meeting with Noblet. The development of human resources in this sector is a priority in which input is highly sought he added.Holland Car plc, Ethiopia delivered 48 pre-ordered automobiles to its clients last week. The car assembly company has been in constant legal wrangling with customers for delivery delays.
The 48 new cars delivered by the company to its clients are powered by a Variable Valve Timing engine which controls the opening and closing time of the intake values as the engine works under different conditions enhancing the power performance of the vehicle as well as lowering its fuel consumption said Engineer Haileleul Tadesse, General Manager of the Assembly Plant.
Remittance service launched with CBE signals evolution of Ethiopian payment ecosystem
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – September 21, 2016 – HomeSend and the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE) today announced a new remittance service at the US-Africa Business Forum, that will allow more than 100 million Ethiopians to send funds directly to any mobile number in the East African country.
Horizon Plantations, subsidiary of MIDROC owned by the Ethio-Saudi billionaire Mohammed Al-Amoudi, has acquired full ownership of Bebeka Coffee Plantation S.C and Horizon Addis Tyre after it bought the Ethiopian government’s shares in both enterprises for 667.2 million Ethiopian birr.
The Ethiopian government’s share in Bebeka was 36 percent, which is sold for 207.8 million birr and the governments share in Horizon Addis was 31 percent.
