Haile Gebresilassie, Ethiopia’s legendary long distance athlete got honey export approval from European nations including Germany and the Netherlands, according to The Reporter.

Prime Minister Haile Marial Dessalegn presented the nine months government performance report on Thursday, April 24, 2014 to the Ethiopian Parliament. His report, he has stressed the manufacturing and export sectors should improve their performances.

Harari State has earned over nine million Ethiopian birr revenue from tourists who visited tourist attraction sites in the state during the first quarter of the current fiscal year, the State culture, tourism and heritages bureau said.

Tourism Director with the Bureau Yasmin Zekaria told Ethiopian News Agency on Saturday, over 17,150 foreign and local tourists has visited tourist attractions in the regional state. Some 3,143 of the visitors are foreigners from Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe.
