Germany Agrees to Support Ethiopia’s Training and Job Creation Programs
Germany signed a Euro 100 million agreement with Ethiopia yesterday to help the country’s training and job creation programs financially and technically. Dr. Abraham Tekeste, Minister of Finance and Economic Cooperation Minister, said, “The agreement is instrumental in generating job opportunities for the young generation since it supports training and job creation program in Ethiopia,” adding that it is significant to give the needed attention to the youth, who comprise 70% percent of Ethiopian population, in order to improve their capacity.
The Ghanian pharmaceutical company mPharma has signed an agreement with Ethiopia's Belayab Pharmaceuticals PLC to launch Haltons Pharmacies. Haltons Pharmacies will operate as a franchisee of mPharma.
