Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics (ESL), the state-owned logistics powerhouse, has reported strong financial and operational achievements for the first half of the 2024/25 fiscal year, surpassing its revenue targets and reinforcing its critical role in Ethiopia’s trade sector.
The government of Ethiopia is undertaking an assessment to expedite the full or partial privatization of the state-owned Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Enterprise. Earlier, the government had announced that it would open the logistics sector for domestic and foreign companies.
