A construction exhibition opened in Addis Ababa yesterday with record levels of participation. Forty five domestic and international companies are participating in the exhibition. Most of the companies represented at the exhibition are from Turkey while nine are domestic and the rest are from Europe and Asia.
The construction exhibition has more nine more exhibitors than last year, including three more local firms according to the organizers of the four day event.

Ebiz Online Solutions PLC, the owner of 2merkato.com, released a new Construction Inputs Online Solutions Portal in Ethiopia last week. The portal is expected to solve the lack of integrated construction inputs' prices data.
The portal contains prices for construction materials, equipment and labour.
The proposed construction of the new Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC) headquarters in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia is expected to begin this year, ahead of schedule.
