Ethiopian Airlines Reports USD 7.6 Billion in Revenue for 2024/25 Fiscal Year

Ethiopian Airlines has announced that it earned USD 7.6 billion in revenue during the 2024/25 fiscal year, marking an 8 percent increase compared to the previous year. Despite global challenges in the aviation sector, the airline recorded strong growth in both passenger and cargo operations.
Ethiopian Airlines announced it has resumed its weekly passenger flights to Enugu, Nigeria from 09 October 2021. The flights are operated on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Ethiopian is one of the oldest carriers flying to Nigeria and has been serving the country since 1960, strengthening trade, cultural and tourism ties between Nigeria and the rest of the world.
Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest carrier, announced that it has resumed its thrice-weekly passenger flights to Bengaluru, India as of 27 March 2022. The airline announced the flight has been recommenced after being on halt for two years, initially due to the pandemic.
Ethiopian Airlines announced it has has resumed domestic flight services to Lalibela town, house to the UNESCO inscribed world heritage site known for its rock-hewn churches.
