Ethiopian Airlines announced it has has resumed domestic flight services to Lalibela town, house to the UNESCO inscribed world heritage site known for its rock-hewn churches.
The flight to the Lalibela has been interrupted for months due to the ongoing conflict in northern Ethiopia.
Ethiopian resumed flights to Lalibela following certain restoration and rebuilding activities on the town's airport, it was learned.
Laliebela is known for its phenomenal celebration ceremony of Ethiopian Christmans, which is on January 7.
