Ethiopian Airlines Earns USD 4.4 Billion in First Half of Fiscal Year

Ethiopian Airlines, Africa’s largest aviation group, has reported USD 4.4 billion in revenue during the first six months of Ethiopia’s current fiscal year, reflecting a 14 percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Ethiopian Airlines has announced that it signed an interline agreement with Airlink (4Z), an airline based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Ethiopian has entered into an interline agreement with Airlink to allow passengers to enjoy seamless travel with a single ticket and lower fare tickets between points within the carriers’ synergized networks.
Ethiopian Airlines said it is working to expand its freight service to meet the growing demand from Ethiopia and Africa, Ethiopian News Agency (ENA) reported.
