Ethiopia: Tigray Revenue Authority Collected 2 Billion Birr
Tigray State’s Revenue Authority disclosed that it has managed to collect a total of 2 billion Birr revenue in the first 6 months of the current fiscal year.

State of Tigray, one of the 9 states of Ethiopia, disclosed it is going to construct an Agro-processing industrial park. The park is expected to be constructed at an outlay of 2.3 billion Birr.

The Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration (MoTRI), Tigray Regional Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations, and Amnen Marketing and Promotion collaborated to organize a one-month trade bazaar which was set to take place in the cities of Mekelle, Wukro, Adigrat, and Maychew.
The first fertilizer blending plant built in Tigray Regional State with the cost of Birr 30 million was inaugurated on May 28, 2015, according to Ethiopian News Agency.
Ministry of Culture and Tourism conducted rating for hotels in Tigray Region, Northern Ethiopia. Gezahegn Abate, Public and International Relations Director at the Ministry, explained 8 out of 34 hotels were rated by the Ministry.
10 hotels were ineligible for the rating since they had problems regarding their license, Gezahegn explained.
