Doctor Girma Amente, Minister for Public Enterprises, disclosed Ethiopia would stop the import of sugar from the coming fiscal year.

Welspun India, textile manufacturing company from India, is interested to invest and join Ethiopia’s textile industry. Such was disclosed by the company’s chairman, B. K. Goenka after he held discussions with Hailemariam Dessalegn, Prime Minister of Ethiopia, on the sidelines of Davos World Economic Forum.

Aser Construction PLC, one of the Grade I contractors in Ethiopia, constructed a public park in the capital city, Addis Ababa, at an outlay of 15 million Birr. The park is said to cover more than 6,000 square meters.
