Ethiopia and South Sudan have signed a new agreement for air transportation services that will replace the temporary permission that was previously granted. The agreement was signed by the Director General of the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority and his counterpart from the Government of South Sudan.

Ethiopian Shipping and Logistics Services Enterprise’s (ESLSE) two oil tankers named Bahr Dar and Hawassa, which were bought 11 years ago to carry the country's oil, have been replaced by Abay 2, a huge ship with a loading capacity of 63,500 tons.

Addis Ababa Trade Bureau is constructing new shopping centers and expanding existing ones in all five entrance areas of the city to combat price inflation and product shortages.
