The second African Union Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Annual Forum is scheduled to take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from September 15-19, 2023.

This forum, hosted by the African Union, will primarily focus on empowering start-up entrepreneurs and shaping policies that encourage African youth in acquiring skills and fostering creativity. In addition, the event aims to attract investors to support various companies and engage stakeholders in assisting enterprises.

The forum will gather participants from all over the continent to deliberate on the challenges and opportunities confronting SMEs in Africa. Workshops and training sessions will be conducted during the forum, covering essential topics such as business development, marketing, and financing.
