Addis Chamber Manufacturing and Technology Exhibition opened in Addis Ababa today. More than 100 domestic and foreign manufacturing companies, technology suppliers, producers, importers, and other institutions are taking part in the exhibition which is taking place at the Addis Ababa Exhibition Center.

The Ministry of Industry, Melaku Alebel, and Mesenbet Shenkute, President of Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations, participated in the opening ceremony of the exhibition. Melaku Alebel said that manufacturing was one of the sectors for which the Government gave special attention. Mesenbet Shenkute, on his part, stated that the exhibition would help create market linkages for companies engaged in the manufacturing sector.

The exhibition will be open for five consecutive days. Visitors are not required to pay entrance fees.
